More than 7,000 campsites have already been reserved for the 2024 Great Race through renewals from the previous edition, which concluded in April.
The remaining campsites will become available today at 11:00 AEST.
In 2023, all sites were snapped up within just 90 minutes of public sales opening, underscoring the importance of acting swiftly for those interested.
“It’s never too early to start looking forward to Bathurst, and we are thrilled to announce the release of our remaining campsites for the 2024 Repco Bathurst 1000,” remarked Supercars CEO Shane Howard.
“The campgrounds at Mount Panorama offer a truly unique atmosphere and are an integral part of what makes the Bathurst 1000 so special.
“We urge fans to secure their sites promptly. Last year, our remaining campsites sold out in just 90 minutes, and with thousands of fans having already secured their spots for 2024, we anticipate a similar rapid sell-out.”
Bathurst Mayor Jess Jennings described camping at the Bathurst 1000 as a must-do experience for motorsport enthusiasts.
“The event marks the pinnacle of the Supercars racing calendar, and having a spot on the mountain to witness the action is an iconic way to enjoy this event.
“The Bathurst 1000 draws visitors to our city and region from across Australia and around the world, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Bathurst and the Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit in October.”
