Severe weather conditions have led to the cancellation of outdoor events scheduled for Saturday at the Norman Music Festival. The decision was made by the Norman Music Alliance out of an abundance of caution due to the threat posed by severe storms, including the risk of tornadoes, hail, damaging winds, and flooding.
The festival organizers emphasized that the safety of everyone involved, including volunteers, vendors, performers, stage crew, and attendees, is of paramount importance. Consequently, all outdoor activities at the festival grounds and The Sooner Theatre have been canceled for Saturday in light of the potentially hazardous weather conditions.
