In an early morning operation, Roseburg Police Department (RPD) officers issued a citation for prohibited camping on Tuesday.
According to an RPD report, at approximately 6:15 a.m., law enforcement officials encountered a 47-year-old individual within a tent beneath the Oak Street Bridge, situated in the 600 block of Southeast Flint Street. The man was found to be camping in an area designated as prohibited under city ordinances, despite having been previously cautioned regarding the city’s camping regulations.
