Pidcock’s coach Kurt Bogaerts and long-time soigneur Xenia De Roose also confirmed as part of the team’s new structure.

Tom Pidcock will be joined by his younger brother, Joe, at Q36.5 Pro Cycling for the 2025 season, marking the first time the Pidcock brothers will ride together on a professional team. The announcement, made on Tuesday, completes the Swiss squad’s lineup for next year, following the closure of Joe Pidcock’s previous team, Trinity Racing.

Joe, 23, has spent the past two seasons with the development team but is now stepping up to the Pro Tour ranks with Q36.5. His notable performances include a stage win at the prestigious Ronde de l’Isard earlier this year.

The team also revealed that Tom’s long-time coach, Kurt Bogaerts, will continue working with him as the head of technical performance. Bogaerts, who has been a key figure in Pidcock’s career since 2018, will be joined by Xenia De Roose, Tom’s trusted soigneur, who will also follow the rider to Q36.5.

Tom Pidcock, who is leaving Ineos Grenadiers after a challenging season, will join Q36.5 in 2025. His year has been a mix of highs and lows: triumphing at both the Amstel Gold Race and the Olympic MTB cross-country event, but also experiencing the frustration of being “deselected” by his former team ahead of Il Lombardia. The former cyclocross world champion has chosen to skip this year’s cyclocross season to focus on adjusting to his new team environment.

Bogaerts expressed enthusiasm for the new chapter, saying, “First impressions are always important, and in the case of the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, those impressions were positive. It’s very special to continue working with Tom. Xenia and I have been part of his career since 2018, and we’ve achieved great results together. In this new team environment, I look forward to continuing that journey.”

He added, “With the technical partners we have, we want to play an important role in the future of cycling. Our motto, ‘We ride the future,’ reflects our ambition. This is a project with vast potential for growth, and together with the riders and staff, we’re aiming for an exciting 2025.”

Doug Ryder, team principal of Q36.5, shared his excitement for the season ahead. “At the end of the year, you always reflect, but I’m focused on the future,” Ryder said. “The addition of Tom Pidcock will undoubtedly raise our ambitions, but the team philosophy of Ubuntu – ‘I am because we are’ – remains at the heart of everything we do.”

Ryder continued, “Last week, we gathered in Spain for our first team camp. It was a fantastic opportunity to begin our preparations for 2025, with a focus on integration and planning for the season ahead.”

As Q36.5 looks forward to a new era with its strengthened lineup, Ryder expressed his pride in the team and optimism for the future. “I’m very proud of this team, and I’m excited for what lies ahead. For now, I wish everyone happy holidays and look forward to the year ahead.”
