The Tour de l’Abitibi Glencore today announced the premiere of the Junior Nations Cup in women’s road cycling, which will take place from July 10 to 14, 2025 in Val-d’Or, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec, Canada. This historic event will be held immediately before the 55th edition of the men’s race, which will also take place in Val-d’Or from July 15 to 20, 2025.

Recognized by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the competition marks a significant step forward for women’s cycling at the international level. It is the first Junior Nations Cup for women to be held outside Europe. Abitibi-Témiscamingue will thus offer the opportunity to welcome talented athletes from all over the world. The event aims to bring out new talent and encourage the determination and dynamism of young female cyclists.
