On September 21, during the JD Travel Season, the second JD Sports × MobiGarden Free Camping Festival was held at the Xinchuan Yunji West Lake Golf Camp in Hangzhou, themed “Wilderness Melody, Autumn Messages from JD.”
At the event, JD Sports and MobiGarden showcased multiple themed camping areas, allowing users to experience the latest camping gear firsthand. Additionally, both parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement, committing to deepen collaboration in product innovation and member benefits to provide consumers with higher-quality camping products and services.
Notably, the “MobiGarden Outdoor Passion Day” will also launch on JD from September 23 at 8 PM to September 24, offering consumers discounts starting at 50%.
This year’s JD Sports × MobiGarden Free Camping Festival in Hangzhou marks the second collaborative camping event following a successful gathering at Nanhaizi Park in Beijing. The venue featured various themed areas, including a stage area, new product experience zone, DIY food area, and interactive game zone. Attendees enjoyed a relaxed autumn day with activities such as tabletop games, frisbee, sunset cinema, and delicious parties, while getting a sneak peek at MobiGarden’s latest comfortable and convenient products. Additionally, a massive RV emblazoned with JD’s mascot Joy and the phrase “Shop for Outdoor Gear on JD” traveled over 1,000 kilometers from Beijing to the event, attracting considerable interest from attendees who gathered to take photos. JD’s outdoor procurement live-streaming studio also launched a live broadcast, immersing viewers in the autumn camping atmosphere.
Meanwhile, JD Sports and MobiGarden officially announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement, embarking on a new chapter in the outdoor camping market. According to the agreement, MobiGarden will continue to develop customized products on JD based on user needs; both parties will engage in deep cooperation regarding member interaction and brand experience. Five long-time JD members who support the MobiGarden brand were invited to share their stories at the event, further deepening the emotional connection with consumers. The head of JD Sports’ outdoor equipment business stated that JD Sports aims to leverage its professional advantages through deep collaboration with leading brands like MobiGarden and by creating influential offline events, thereby providing consumers with a one-stop camping shopping experience.
