Sunraysia Safari Rally Ends Free Camping Policy

The Sunraysia Safari Cross Country Rally will no longer offer free camping to participants. This decision follows a recent vote by Wentworth Shire Councillors to discontinue the free camping arrangement.

Last week, the council approved a financial package for the event, including $20,000 in sponsorship and an additional $8,600 in in-kind support. Despite this support, the council deemed it impractical to continue providing free camping, citing concerns that such practices could negatively impact local businesses.
