KOTA KINABALU, Sabah Parks has issued a critical warning for hikers on Mount Kinabalu to exercise caution due to adverse weather conditions affecting the region.

In a recent Facebook update, Julaimin Kamin, manager of the Panalaban substation, reported that ongoing heavy rainfall and strong winds have led to several natural hazards along the summit trail. Specifically, a tree has fallen at both KM1.6 and KM0.6, and a landslide has occurred at KM3.8.
