Urgent Search Underway for Missing Hiker in South Wales

Authorities are intensifying efforts to locate Joanne Jones, a 49-year-old woman from Pontypridd, who went missing during a mountain hike on Monday, October 21. She was last spotted around 10 a.m. as she made her way toward Llanwonno, a remote hamlet in the South Wales Valleys.

Police have expressed deep concern for Jones’s welfare and have released a new CCTV image to aid in the search. In the footage, she can be seen wearing a dark green coat, black rucksack, leggings, and walking boots.
